Meet Ray B, Quality Control Manager at Tru Colors Contracting. Ray has been with Tru Colors Contracting for over 7 years and started out as an apprentice painter, fresh out of high school. Ray has also served as a painter and crew leader at Tru Colors Contracting prior to taking on the role of Quality Control Manager.
A Florida native, Ray was born in Broward County and moved to the West Palm Beach area during his childhood. Ray is a graduate of Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee and played on the school’s football team. Ray is engaged to be married to his fiancé Kylie. The two have been together for more than 4 years and have two dogs Stormi and Chucki. Both dogs are adopted from shelters and are vital parts of Ray and Kylie’s family.
Stormi is more of a loner and stays very much to herself, but Chucki is attached to us and follows us around everywhere, noted Ray. She was at a shelter for a year before we adopted her and was born in Puerto Rico. It took her a little while to trust us, but we’ve grown very fond of her and Stormi.
Ray and Kylie often travel to South New Jersey to visit members of his family and to South Carolina to visit Kylie’s family. Both Stormi and Chucki join them on their road trips. With roots in South Jersey, Ray is an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. In his spare time, Ray enjoys playing Flag Football and is a member of a local flag football team. We play in numerous tournaments all across the state of Florida and plan to be playing in tournaments outside of the state as well in the forthcoming year, noted Ray.
Ray is very happy to be working at Tru Colors Contracting and enjoys the family atmosphere the company creates for its associates. Ray is most proud of an e xtensive metal refinishing project he worked at in Palm Beach at one of the island’s prestigious homes. “We worked on the project for several months and it involved removing the salt from the metal surfaces and stripping these surfaces, prior to applying the new multi-layer finish. The end result looks sensational and the client was very pleased with the project,” Ray concluded.
